Feria Clandestina: MAKING ROOM
This Miami-focused art fair takes place each year in one of Miami’s iconic mid-century motels. Each motel room is organized by a different artist, group, or organizer. This year, Feria Clandestina will present MAKING ROOM at the Gold Dust Motel in Midtown Miami.
Who: There are friends of the studio in many of the rooms (see who else is showing here!), but Room 224 has the most direct connections to the Miami Paper & Printing Museum.
Curated by Luna Goldberg (who was an O, Papermill Fellow at the studio last spring), Room 224 features the following artists, who have been in a critique group together for several years:
Harumi Abe
Jen Clay (Existent Books Artist — Nearing)
Jenna Efrein
Christian Feneck (Existent Books Artist — The Unmade Room)
Brooke Frank (MP&PM Education & Artist Relations Manager)
Donna Haynes
Luke Jenkins (In Bloom Studio — Fabrication collaborator for Existent Books and other studio projects)
Ingrid Schindall (MP&PM Founder & Director)
