Workshop Policies
Workshop Cancellation: If a workshop you've signed up for is cancelled for any reason, you will be notified no later than the morning of the day your workshop is scheduled and you will be refunded the full amount. Please note that cancellations made by participants less than 48 hours in advance of the class will not be refunded or put towards future classes.
Workshop Timing: The length of the workshop may vary depending on whether we have full or light attendance. If the workshop is full, we may need additional time to accommodate everyone. If the class is small, the workshop may not require the full length, as you will be getting more individualized attention.
Workshop Photography: IS Projects may take photos during your workshop, and may publish those photos. If information is provided about artworks depicted, IS Projects will make reasonable efforts to publish that information with the images of the art work, but it is not guaranteed. You are welcome to take and publish photographs during your workshop! If you post them on Instagram, we would love it if you’d tag us @isprojects. Please ask other participants and instructors for consent before photographing them or their work. If you do not wish to be photographed during your workshop, please state that to your instructor, and kindly remind other participants as well if it comes up.
Parking: Parking is free! Please park within the gated parking lot next to our mint-green building.
Health, Safety, and Accessibility: We want you to feel safe and welcome while you are working with us, and we believe that good communication is a huge part of that. Please reach out to Brooke Frank to discuss any specific accommodations you may need to ensure your successful participation in the workshop you’d like to take. Her email address is brooke@isprojectsfl.com and she would be happy to hear from you.
Mask Policy: You are always welcome to wear a mask at IS Projects, and it is possible that you will be asked to wear a mask as a mandatory condition of your participation in a workshop. If you would like to take a scheduled workshop, but can only do so if the instructor and all participants agree to wear masks as well, please reach out to Brooke Frank at brooke@isprojectsfl.com at least 5 business days prior to the workshop so that she can tell the other participants that a mask will be required (she will attempt to accommodate later requests for whole-workshop masking, but cannot make promises.) You do not have to justify this request, and Brooke will not single you out as having made it. If someone in your workshop has requested whole-workshop mask wearing for your upcoming workshop, you are required to wear a mask in order to participate, and that information will be communicated to you via email before your workshop.
Code of Conduct: Participation in all workshops at IS Projects requires compliance with our Code of Conduct, which can be reviewed here.
Participants will receive an email reminder during the week leading up to their workshop which includes reminders about some of our workshop policies as well as any specifics about what to expect during your workshop, or how to prepare.

Workshop attendees do not need to bring anything with them unless otherwise specified in the workshop description. However, workshop attendees are encouraged to bring ideas, sketches, snacks, and relevant supplementary tools and materials.
How do I find out about upcoming workshops?
Workshops are posted on a quarterly basis to our Classes page. Once those listings are published, all upcoming workshops are announced via our monthly newsletter, and on Instagram when they each new batch is announced and individually before each workshop occurs. To sign up for our newsletter, plug in your email on the bottom left corner of our Contact page. To follow us on Instagram, please click here!

Do you offer workshops specifically for kids or teens?
Not at the moment but you never know what the future holds. We love working with young people, though, and we are happy to discuss arranging an age-appropriate private group workshop. Please reach out to Brooke at brooke@isprojectsfl.com for more information.
Can I schedule my own workshop?
Absolutely! We have many options for folks who want to learn techniques not currently listed on our Classes page, or who cannot attend during the time slots currently offered due to schedule conflict. If you are interested in one-on-one instruction and you live around here, you might be best served by a Studio Membership, which allows you access to flexible scheduling of Assisted Studio Time (during which you will learn exactly what you want to learn with custom-tailored individual instruction.) If you are interested in a one-time-only workshop, or have a group of 1-4 people, you may can submit an inquiry on our Private Instruction page. If you have a group of 4 people or larger, please email info@isprojectsfl.com with details about your group, what you’d like to learn, and when you’d like to plan your event, and we will get back to you with more information soon!

You are welcome to pay in person before the workshop or at the time of the workshop however, your spot will not be reserved until the workshop has been payed for and the class is subject to cancellation if we do not receive at least 3 sign ups 48 hours prior to the class.
